Wells Conference Centre, Chris also became Business Liaison Manager in November 2015, drawing on his many and varied local connections to strengthen the Woking Works brand. Chris is also leading on Woking's Digital strategy. Business Liaison Officer and Programme Manager for Celebrate Woking
Over the past five years, Riette has grown the Celebrate Woking Party in the Park from a modest local event to a cultural extravaganza, which last year attracted more than 20,000 people. She also manages the Woking Food & Drink Festival, a vibrant celebration that brings an international flavour to the town. She is also spearheading the World Host customer training programme. Laura brings a wealth of experience in the field of visitor economy to the Woking Works team, having managed the town’s visitor information centre for eight years. She also oversees external communications on behalf of the team, and contributes to local publications. Her future projects include promotion of the planned Woking Loyalty Card. Glenn has enjoyed a range of roles at Woking Borough Council, starting as a project assistant linking local schools with businesses. He plays an active role within the team, working closely with our business advisors Chris Bryan and Richard Butcher to manage start up one-to-ones and share business news across the county. Jane comes from a strong communications background in charity and public sector.
