Bill's chooses Woking for continued expansion

Woking Borough Council has today announced that Bill's, the popular contemporary eatery, is to open a 273 cover restaurant on Woking's freshly refurbished Commercial Way. The restaurant and produce shop, which will trade from two floors, features al fresco seating and a terrace.

Bill's will open later this year following completion of redevelopment works that include the creation of a new entrance to Wolsey Place, an additional restaurant, and a refurbished mall leading to Central Square where Patisserie Valerie opened in 2013.

Commenting on the addition of Bill's to Woking, Cllr John Kingsbury, Leader of Woking Borough Council, said: "Bill's is another great addition to Woking Shopping's line-up of leading retail and dining brands. Bill's has a great reputation and very strong following and so is set to be a great success. It is further proof that the works being done to Woking are changing the face of the town centre for the better."

Scott MacDonald, Co-Managing Director of Bill's, added: "We are delighted to be opening at Woking Shopping. Great locations are key to our success and it will provide us with a high footfall in a popular and busy destination. Plus, starting with a blank canvas, we will be able to create the perfect Bill's experience, with plenty of character, along with excellent service and food."

Bill's is the latest in a series of key additions to Woking Shopping's dining offer, following the announcement earlier this month that Carluccio's is to open a 161 cover restaurant next door to the Tante Marie Culinary Academy. Woking Shopping has also enjoyed a very strong first five months of the year, with footfall up by 8%.
