Find out about fully subsidised training to make social media work for your business

Social Media for Business - new fully subsidised programme now available to Enterprise M3 businesses

Is your business using social media to engage with its clients? Would you like to do more but would like some support and advice on how best to harness the impact of social media for your business? If so, Enterprise M3 is pleased to announce that a new fully subsidised social media for business programme is now available to businesses in our area.

The Social Media for Business programme is part of the Enterprise M3 Skills Support for the Workforce programme which aims at supporting lesser-skilled individuals so as to improve their career opportunities and their existing skills and knowledge through work-based learning.

It is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) so training is free* to both you and your employees.

Learn how to make social media work for your business

The Social Media for Business programme is designed to help you understand how to make social media a productive part of your marketing mix.

Working with specialist tutors, you will learn how to use a range of social media applications to promote your business and communicate with others.

Targeted activities will include using digital vouchers for marketing purposes and planning the implementation of social networking site advertising campaigns.

Alongside the skills you develop, this programme will help you develop a Social Media marketing plan for your business.

Details of the programme

The Social Media for Business programme will be delivered over 12 weeks by Opportunities Workshop, an independent training provider which supports employers and individuals in the South East of England with high quality training and recruitment services. There will be weekly sessions which will cover essential topics and give you the opportunity to deploy your learning in your business between learning activities.

On completion of the programme, you will achieve the Level 2 Award in the Promotion of Goods and Services using Social Media and the Level 3 Award in the Principles of Social Media, Advertising and Promotion. Both qualifications are awarded by SFEDI, the awarding organisation for enterprise.
