Woking Welcomes Las Iguanas

Latin American influenced restaurant chain, Las Iguanas, will open next week in Woking. The 160 cover restaurant is located on the newly refurbished Commercial Way and marks the first branch of Las Iguanas in Surrey.

Las Iguanas began in 1991 and now trades from over 35 locations in the UK. The menu is prepared from fresh ingredients and combines native Latin American, Spanish, Portuguese and African influences found in South American cooking. Every restaurant provides a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Design of the restaurant is individual to each branch using a design collaboration between an in-house team and award-winning designers.

Commenting on the opening, Cllr John Kingsbury, Leader of Woking Borough Council, said: “It’s terrific to see the continued development of Woking’s dining experience. The opening of Las Iguanas will complement our existing restaurant offer and brings a welcome taste of South America to Woking.”

Eren Ali, Founder Director of Las Iguanas, added: “It is great to finally be opening in Woking. Being at the heart of such a new development where so much thought and effort has been put into the dining sector is very exciting and reassuring. We look forward to getting involved with the buzz and footfall that attracted us to the area and offering people a taste of our fresh, Latin American menu.”
