Working for Woking

The Council has a duty to consult business representatives about its financial plans. Working for Woking is your opportunity to hear about and have your say on Woking Borough Council's plans and efforts to grow its economy.
Working for Woking will be attended by the Councils senior management team and political leaders. The briefing will be mediated by a high profile business leader who will guide the debate on behalf of the business community. Building on the success of our previous event in February 2012, this event will allow you to find out about;
1. The wider economic outlook and how this links with local efforts to grow the economy
2. Councils planned budget and investment programme
3. The progress of important and ambitious new developments in the Borough.
Who should attend? If you represent a business in Woking Borough, small or large, and are interested in the development of your local area, you should attend.
