Woking Chamber of Commerce
About the Chamber
Formed in 1899, Woking Chamber of Commerce is the oldest independent Chamber in Surrey.
We represent the interests of hundreds of businesses and organisations from blue chip companies and SMEs to charities and individual members.
The Chamber has a president, vice president and a treasurer, a business development director, admin staff, plus an executive committee and two sub-committees comprised of some 40 members, all helping to make the Chamber flourish and grow.
Woking Chamber is almost certainly one of the most proactive Chambers in the South East.
Each year we meet regularly with the Borough Council, organise events, run meetings and hold an annual exhibition, Woking Means Business.
Joining the Chamber has many benefits
Connecting your business
The Chamber holds monthly networking meetings at the New Victoria Theatre on a Friday lunch time. These events will connect you with many local businesses. Members details appear in the printed directory and on the Chamber website giving you added exposure to hundreds of companies who access these resources for information. Woking Chamber is affiliated to Surrey Chambers of Commerce and as a result, members can attend local Surrey Chambers events at member rates.
Supporting your business
Woking Chamber has an influential voice in local decisions. The Chamber enjoys a close working relationship with Woking Borough Council and its senior officers, affording the Chamber the opportunity to report matters of concern and receive up-to-date information about developments in the town.
