Pilates Essence

The great thing about Pilates is that almost anyone can do it!

I started practicing Pilates in 2008 following a recommendation by my Back Consultant. I have scoliosis and following the birth of my first child I suffered with terrible back pain.

I initially started attending 1 class a week and then progressed to 2 classes a week. Very soon I not only noticed a vast improvement in my day to day back pain, I also noticed a big change in my posture and body shape.

I am passionate about the benefits of Pilates on your body, mind and overall wellbeing, and would like to share this passion with you in one of my classes.

Pilates for mums-to-be from your 2nd trimester

Pilates is a safe way to exercise during your second and third trimesters of pregnancy.

By strengthening the core abdominal muscles and pelvic floor Pilates prepares the body for a smooth birth and gives you the body awareness as you entry the post natal period.

Matwork Pilates classes:

Monday 7pm & 8pm - Mixed Level - Church of the Good Shepherd, Pyrford

Tuesday Prenatal - 12:45pm - Prenatal Pilates - suitable from 12 weeks. Held at the Evolved Pilates Studio in Windlesham

Tuesday Postnatal - 1:45pm - Postnatal Pilates, babies are welcome to watch - suitable once you have received GP sign off to exercise. Held at the Evolved Pilates Studio in Windlesham www.tara-kusch.com
