Trade and Investment Minister opens Foster Wheeler Office

Foster Wheeler announced the official opening of its new UK upstream office in Dukes Court, Woking, on Thursday 21 March, by Lord Stephen Green, Minister of State for Trade and Investment.

A plaque was unveiled by Lord Green at a ceremony held at Foster Wheeler Upstream's office at Dukes Court, Woking and the ceremony was preceded by a roundtable discussion between Lord Green, who was accompanied by representatives from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), and senior executives from Foster Wheeler led by J Kent Masters, Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler.

Foster Wheeler Upstream is expanding its existing capability in response to its success in this market sector and the growth opportunities this market offers. The new office in Dukes Court was opened on 1 October 2012 to provide specialist services to the offshore upstream market. The office will offer a full spectrum of services for greenfield and brownfield developments, including concept selection, pre-front-end engineering design (pre-FEED), FEED, detailed design, project management consultancy, engineering, procurement and construction/construction management for upstream offshore oil and gas projects.
