Curchod & Co expand across Surrey, following merger with Wadham & Isherwood’s Camberley and Farnham operations

Curchod & Co in Woking and Weybridge, the commercial property, building surveying and management business, has merged with the Farnham and Camberley offices of rival firm, Wadham & Isherwood - expanding its operations across Surrey.

Mark Isherwood, Peter da Silva and Peter Atkinson will continue to run the Guildford and Woking offices of Wadham and Isherwood which are unaffected by the merger.

The Farnham and Camberley offices, managed by Nick Reeve and David Bowen respectively, have been rebranded under the Curchod & Co banner, with Nick and David both becoming partners of the expanded business, joining Ian Oswin, Christopher Martin and Richard Newsam.

Ian Oswin, senior partner at Curchod & Co, said: “David, Nick and the wider team, bring with them vast knowledge and experience of the markets in the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire border areas and will allow the expanded business to bring new levels of service to all our clients right across the county and beyond.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for us at a time when both the occupier and investment markets are changing in response to the wider economic climate.”

David Bowen said: “There is a great synergy between our separate operations, in terms of both culture and geographic spread. By coming together in this way our clients will benefit from a wider range of services and our ability to provide high-quality commercial property advice at a regional level.”

Nick Reeve added: “The merger is not only great news for our existing clients, who will still receive the same high-level of client service we provide, but also for occupiers, landlords and the wider business community. Having four offices in key local markets, will enable us to provide detailed advice and analysis of the commercial real estate market across the region.”

Between them, Curchod’s four offices have dealt with some of the most important commercial properties and developments in Surrey, including Woking Business Park and Henley Park in Normandy near Guildford, a 100,000 sq ft development of Dunsfold Park at Dunsfold Aerodrome and Byfleet 71, an industrial/distribution property of almost 71,000 sq ft in Abbott Close, Byfleet.

As part of Curchod & Co’s expansion, the firm’s Woking office is relocating to Morris House, 34 Commercial Way, Woking to accommodate its planned growth in the town.

The contact telephone numbers for the Farnham and Camberley offices remain unchanged. Further information regarding the merger and the services available from Curchod & Co is available from the website: www.curchodandco.com
