Godalming based premium kitchen appliance brand, Magimix has been announced as one of the key sponsors at this year’s Woking Food and Drink Festival, taking place in Woking town centre from Friday 31 August to Sunday 2 September 2018.

As part of the sponsorship, which is the first of a three-year partnership, visitors to the festival will be able to head over to the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre, located in Jubilee Square, to see the iconic machines in action during live demonstrations across the three-day festival. Hosted by some of Surrey’s top culinary talent and well-known celebrity chefs, the festival promises to be a feast for the eyes as well as tummies!

In addition to the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre, Magimix will also host free ‘Magimix masterclasses’ at the Tante Marie Culinary Academy, located in Commercial Way, giving festival visitors the opportunity to get a real hands-on experience and learn from the experts.

Steve Punter, Magimix UK Managing Director, said: “We’re very excited to be at the Woking Food and Drink Festival for the first time and for the next three years. This independent, free-to-attend festival has a fantastic reputation in Surrey and the surrounding counties, and we’re delighted to be part of it.

“Being based in Godalming, we see Surrey as our heartland so it’s brilliant to meet and collaborate with new people who are as passionate about food as we are. We’re also looking forward to collaborating with our long-term associate, Tante Marie Culinary Academy, by offering practical Magimix masterclasses to the festival’s visitors.”

Since its inception over 40 years ago, Magimix has become the must have food processor in kitchens everywhere and the world leader in kitchen appliances. Still produced in France, The Magimix Food Processor makes light work of meal prep, transforming the lives of families, aspiring cooks and professional chefs as the products are built to last. Each food processor’s handmade motor also comes with a 30-year guarantee, further cementing their superiority in the kitchen.

Over the years, in line with ever-changing culinary needs and tastes, Magimix has evolved and expanded its range, introducing new and exciting kitchen helpers such as ice cream makers, blenders and juicers all the while staying true to its principle of making life simpler for passionate home cooks.

Riëtte Thomas, Celebrate Woking and Festival Project Manager at Woking Borough Council, added: “Welcoming leading international brand, Magimix, as a new sponsor to our award-winning festival is a feather in our cap. Its reputation as a leader in the world-wide culinary appliances market, as well as its 35-year strong relationship with local-based Tante Marie Culinary Academy, adds further kudos to our established and growing event.”
