Managed IT service provider, ramsac, announces new vision amid double digit growth

ramsac, the principal provider of outsourced IT services in the South East, has reported substantial growth in all areas of the business while setting out its 2025 vision.

Following the digital transformation surge during the COVID-19 pandemic, ramsac’s services have been in increasingly high demand, with a record year for the business resulting in an 18% uplift in turnover. Numerous new clients have joined ramsac’s list of managed service customers, joining leading UK organisations including The Old Vic, The Royal College of Midwives, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Charity, and most excitingly, they are forecasting a further 20% growth this year.

Its team of expert IT technical and support consultants has also expanded by 15% since May 2020, meeting customer needs across a range of roles and departments. The Surrey IT management and cybersecurity company will continue to expand its team in 2021, with plans to recruit a further 20 new positions by the end of the year including a new position on the Leadership Team as Head of IT Operations, who will further drive the cybersecurity strategy for the business and its clients.

To respond to the increasingly digitised business landscape and worrying trend in cybersecurity threats, hacking and ransomware in the past year, ramsac will be introducing a number of new services dedicated to supporting resilient cybersecurity solutions. Building on its core fully managed IT services offering, totalIT, ramsac will be launching totalIT Secure+ with a dedicated team for security monitoring and response.

The company will also be growing their cloud services with a new SharePoint Transformation consultancy team, to assist organisations to get more out of their Office365 and cloud storage environments. They are also launching a meeting room technology team, to help organisations adapt to the new world of hybrid working, where meetings are increasingly going to see a mix of remote and in person participants, which will have an impact on the way people need the tech to work.

The new services form part of ramsac’s wider vision for the next five years, presenting its ambition to continue as one of the most fulfilling and flexible employers in the industry, delivering incomparable service as the go to provider of outsourced IT, business transformation and cybersecurity to a variety of organisations.

Commenting on the company’s future plans, managing director of ramsac, Rob May, said: “This past year has been another great result for ramsac’s team and financial evolution. We’ll be celebrating our 30th anniversary in the current financial year and our recent successes have created a solid foundation for the next decade and beyond, showcasing our continuing ability to adapt and be flexible in response to market needs. This year we’ll be investing significantly in our ongoing expansion towards our 2025 vision and will also be employing a lot of new people to support the new services we will be introducing. I’m incredibly proud of the team and all we have achieved so far, and I look forward to continuing to strategically strengthen our position in the industry.”
