Surrey Business Awards Woking Winner

The best of business in Surrey was celebrated at the 2021 Surrey Business Awards last week.  The awards, are the largest event of its kind in the county. 

Over 320 of the county’s leading business people gathered for the sell-out event held at Denbies Wine Estate on November 18th.  The awards were presentation by news anchor Natasha Kaplinsky. This year saw a record-breaking number of nominations for each category, with hundreds of applicants whittled down to just 16 winners. 

Woking based, Leadership & Team development specialists, Carver Coaching Ltd, won the ‘start-up’ category for their work with corporates and frontline organisations across the pandemic.  Designing and delivering experiential learning to thousands of team leaders.  Their ability to quickly pivot, design and deliver impactful training was recognised.  Subjects ranged from Wellbeing Conversation Training, Coaching Skills, Stress Management & Resilience, Difficult Conversations & Managing Conflict, Kindness & Human Leadership Approaches. 

Lisa Carver, Founder of Carver Coaching Ltd, Winners of the Start Up of the year said: “To say we are ‘chuffed’ is an understatement.  Our focus in 2021 was to establish our credibility in the market, become trusted partners with key organisations and deliver outstanding results.

We have a large network of coaches and organisational psychologists which means we can quickly identify the right solution, design and deliver learning experiences which shift behaviour. 

The judging panel was made up of business experts from a variety of industries.  One of the judges, Harvey Monk of Verlingue Ltd said, ' We hope the award drives more growth and enthusiasm for the work that Carver Coaching does'.
