Two Ducks and a Farmers market!

Two Ducks gift shop in St.John’s village, Woking, which specialises in gifts from British makers and designers, is one of the many new businesses that Start Up Woking has helped over the last three years. Growing rapidly from a pop-up on Church Path into a fully fledged shop in St Johns, Two Ducks has just launched a new British Artisan food section, it’s fourth expansion since opening one year ago.

Two Ducks is excited to be stocking over 30 fantastic British small food producers, some local, others from around the UK from Cornwall to Scotland. Their products include fabulous dressings, chutney’s, pickles, mustards, jam’s, local Knaphill honey, chocolates, truffles, flavoured popcorn, chocolate coated honeycomb, spicy nuts, alcoholic pastilles and fudge. Many of the ingredients of each product are seasonal, without preservatives and locally sourced.

Owner of Two Ducks, Claire Leigh said ‘The new area will be stocking the kind of products you find at Farmers Markets but can’t get on any of the shelves of the supermarkets - a bit like a permanent indoor farmers market! We are focusing on gift food products rather than perishable produce and hope that these will complement our British gift range beautifully and allow for fantastic gift pairings!’

The new section is now open and Claire looks forward to talking to customers about the artisan producers she has chosen to stock.
