Local newspaper offers lifeline to businesses

Thanks to the support of #WeAreWoking, Woking News & Mail has not only continued to publish weekly news but is now reaching more homes than ever before, helping to keep the 48,000 households in the borough connected and informed throughout the coronavirus crisis.

While shining a light on all the positive efforts by people around the area in the current situation, we also want to reassure businesses that we are still providing space for business news and advertising.

News & Mail Managing Director Terry Tidbury says: “The impact of the current lockdown is taking many things back to basics, including businesses. While most of us are grateful for the connections we can maintain through the internet and social media, thanks to the support we are getting from #WeAreWoking, the News & Mail is being delivered to every household in the borough.

“This is a real lifeline to locally based businesses as it provides them with the widest reach to potential customers that we have ever had - there has never been a better time to advertise in Woking’s local paper.”
